Author Spotlight & Giveaway: J.S. Wayne

Yaaay! July Awesome Guest Blogger Month begins today and my first guest blogger ever is here to hang at my Place! W00T! Well, actually, this is the second time I've had a guest blogger, my first AND my second one ever are the same, so it counts. :D  What am I rambling about?  *shrugs* Who knows.  All that really matters, is J.S. Wayne is back for a visit to talk about all the cool things he's got going on AND to giveaway a $10.00 Noble Romance Gift Card too. WhooWhoo!

heehee, I'm excited. :D

You know the giveaway drill, leave a comment, say howdy, fine details at the end of the post. Now, without further babbling on my part, I turn the Place over to J.S.  Let July Awesome Guest Blogger Month begin!

Welcome J.S....

*applause, hoots, hollers and whistles from the massive crowd*

Thank you SO much, Amara, for letting me come over and hang out today. It's been almost three months since I was here last. Hard to believe, looking back, at how fast time passes!

There's a lot of exciting new stuff happening in the mad world of J.S. Wayne. I've been all over the board, working on a raft of stories and novels.

Recently, I completed an M/M werewolf erotic romance novella with the working title "Dancing On Flames." So far, this holds the title of "Scariest Attempted Project Ever!" Currently, it's sitting in the submission queue, but I have high hopes that Noble Romance will pick it up. If you like your werewolves scary but honorable or to see two guys wind up in love, you'll enjoy this story!

I also submitted an F/F Faerie story called "Make A Wish . . ." to Naughty Nights Press. This one's a fun little tale about a college girl who gets dumped and winds up getting some sage advice from her Folklore professor.

And, since I clearly didn't have enough to do, I also submitted a story for an anthology concerning succubi; this particular story, "The Chapel," tells of a priest who succumbs to a succubus and winds up learning that when he took over this church, he got a lot more than he bargained for. I'm still waiting to hear back on this one, but when I know, y'all will!

In the meantime, I have some very exciting news: The last time I was here was to celebrate the release of "Angels Would Fall," my angelic erotic romance story. Since then, I've released "Angel Of The Morning," the sequel story to "Angels Would Fall." Now, I'm proud to report that in August, barring mishap, Angels Cry, a full-length novel continuing the story of Moradiel and Ariel and introducing a host of new characters will be released by Noble Romance Publishing!

Here's the blurb:

Moradiel, the Soulbearer, and his human consort, Ariel, are barely managing to stay ahead of the wrath of the Angel of Death. Azrael is growing more impatient by the moment; he wants Moradiel punished and Ariel dead once and for all, and is not particular about how the task is accomplished.

Knowing this, Moradiel’s fellow angels will offer him only limited aid, if they don’t try to kill him outright. In desperation, the fugitives seek refuge in the last place in Creation any sane being would look for an angel: Sin City. Las Vegas, Nevada.

Maddened by Moradiel’s defection from the heavenly Host, Azrael isn’t sane. When he arrives in Sin City to exact vengeance on Moradiel, he leaves Moradiel with a chilling warning: He intends to use Ariel for his own twisted pleasure before consigning her soul to Infernos.

But darker news still awaits them: Because Ariel did not die at the ordained time, Moradiel has started the entire universe on an inexorable countdown to oblivion.

A countdown that began with the first breath Ariel ever drew on Earth. . . .

So as you can see, it's been a very busy time in my world, and I've got a lot more on the way! I'm working on a menage erotic romance fantasy novel with the working title Once A Knight's Enough, among several other stories and novels. I'll keep everyone posted on new developments as they happen.

But today, I'm feeling celebratory. So, I'm going to give one lucky winner a $10 gift certificate to Noble Romance Publishing, as my way of saying "Thanks for hanging out with me!"

Thank you again for having me today, Amara. As always , it's been a pleasure!

Until next time,

Best,

J.S. Wayne
Thank you J.S. I so vera much love it when you come to visit! Vera vera.

That's all for me, for now. Hope everyone has a great day!

  17. @ Darcy: As soon as I've got some news about the werewolves, I'll be sure to put it up on my blog. In the meantime, I hope you like "Espiritu Sancti!"

@ Terra: The werewolves started out as an experiment, but who knows? They might very well take on a life of their own. To borrow a hackneyed phrase: have I created a monster?
    The readers will decide!
Thanks for your interest, sincerely and from the bottom of my heart!
