Amara: Hi Aaron. Do come in darlin’, make yourself comfortable.
Amara: Oh yes, my little Loki is a love bug, when he’s not being a total trouble maker that is. Can I get you anything darlin’?
Aaron: Um, what I want, or who I want, isn't here so I guess I'll take a nice cup of that coffee you're drinking. Smells great.
Amara: *snickers* One coffee, comin’ right up. *pours hot steamy cup and passes*
So Aaron, can you tell me a little bit about yourself? What makes Aaron… tick *wink*
Aaron: Well, dear Amara, I really don't like talking about myself, but your smile is so pretty, let's dish. *giggle*. I'm twenty-five and I have the best job in the universe. I grew up not far from Romeo's. I was never much for academics; I had my mind on other things, if you know what I mean. *arches an eyebrow*
Amara: *laughs* Now why doesn’t that surpise me. Do you have a… special someone?
Aaron: *get a little red faced* Now, you know I do. I make so secret of my total besottedness of Blake. Is that a real word? Oh, whatever. I am. The man is an Adonis, hung like a… Oh, so sorry, Amara. I forgot my manners. No doubt when Blake reads this, he'll give me a bit of an adjustment, attitude-wise.
Anyway, we met a couple of years ago when I applied at the Romeo Club for the job I now hold. See, I can be polite. *smiles widely*
Amara: *laughs* … *leans in with a wicked grin* But naughty is much more fun than polite. *winks* What do you do for fun darlin’?
Aaron: Anytime I hear Blake call me name from a fantasy room at the club, um, I know there is some kind of fun waiting. Damn, it's hot in here. *fans self with hand*
Seee, naughty. *winks*
And Romeo’s? Tell me about Romeo’s, what is it?
Aaron: *Continues to fan himself* You did read Brita's story, right? OMG. Romeo's is the best place in the world. So many interesting men come into the club. See, Romeo's is a dating service first and foremost. But when a guy shows a certain, er, quality, I alert Blake to the guy's potential and, well, you read about Donnie, right? Some of our best members simply wanted to find the perfect match and ended up learning so much about themselves. Blake's a great teacher. Oh, Lord, it is warm in here, dear Amara.
Amara: *wicked grin* So I read. *winks* So, what do you do there honey? Er, I mean… what’s your job? And… *grins*… do you like it?
Aaron: *coughs* I'm what Blake calls a receptionist. Brita was one of those once. Oh, excuse me, I digress. Yeah, I'm a receptionist. I see to it that everyone fills out the application fully. It's a rather thorough assessment of what the gentlemen are looking for, as well as what they have to offer. Through experience and all that Blake's taught me, I've learned to scope out the guys, sense when there is more to a guy than just looking for a date. When I see that, as I did in Donnie, I talk to Blake and we help them get the most out of their fantasies. Phew, I think I said all that and didn't even offend you.
Amara: Oh honey, it’s pretty hard to offend me. You haven’t even come close. I’m curious, how did you come to work there?
Aaron: There really isn't anything magical about how this happened. Blake advertised for a receptionist at Romeo's, right? He was just starting up, I found out later. When I applied, he flirted shamelessly with me, I mean those eyes, that dark hair, that body. OMG, he was gorgeous. *shifts uncomfortably in the chair*
He asked me what skills I had and I showed him. *belly laughs* He said he'd never known anyone with such talent and thought I'd be an asset to the club. *giggles* I showed him a few more things, just to prove I was qualified for the position he wished me to take, and in the end, he proclaimed the job mine. Since then, he's helped me hone my skills and seems quite satisfied with my abilities.
Amara: *chokes on coffee and bursts out in laughter*
Aaron: Amara, dear, what did I say? Are you all right? Really, honey, you shouldn't be laughing on the floor. *gets up to help Amara back into the chair*
Amara: *still laughing* Aaron, you slay me. *tries to compose herself*
So honey, what makes Romeo’s different from other places? I mean, really, why should someone choose Romeo’s over somewhere else?
Aaron: There isn't another club like Romeo's, anywhere. Blake runs an upscale operation. Everything is done with class. Our fantasy rooms are well equipped with every implement imaginable. Okay, that doesn't make it much different, but the one thing that no other place has is Blake and me, and darlin', that's something worth coming for.
*Amara laughs again*
Aaron: *Aaron looks around and shrugs* What'd I say?
Amara: *shakes head* You’re a handful aren’t you darlin’. *grin* Ok, what I really want to know is *leans in* got any dirt you can dish?
Aaron: I'd love to dish, but then, we run into the little problem called Blake. He preaches confidentiality constantly when I want to talk about one of the clients and their most interesting peccadilloes. There was this guy once, who…*someone clears a throat. Aaron jumps and immediately lowers his head*
"Hello, my dear, I'm Blake and I believe I've arrived in the nick of time." *Aaron fidgets.* "I hope you don't mind me coming pick Aaron up. A lovely young woman named Z told me to come on in."
Amara: *leers and shakes hands with Blake* Well hello Blake, so very nice to meet you..
Blake takes Aaron by the arm, lifts his chin and gives him a kiss. "We'll discuss this at home, my sweet boy."
Aaron shudders and gives a wicked grin. "I love our discussions."
"Thank you for having him, Amara. I hope you'll ask me."
Amara: My pleasure darlin’. And yes, definitely expect an invite... *Amara watches Blake escort Aaron out the room. She remembers on last question, and mutters to herself*… "Boxers or briefs?"
Blurb: Are you willing to put yourself in our hands?
Smart, successful, handsome, and thoroughly sick of the club scene, Don ventures into a popular upscale dating service. Aroused and intrigued by the boldfaced sexual queries on the Romeo Club’s application, he finds himself embellishing one answer after the next. Don thinks he’s taking control of his fate, but when he’s done, he ends up turning over a lot more than just his questionnaire to the dominant Adonis who runs the service.
In a private back room, beneath the snick of handcuffs, the slide of silk over his eyes, and not one hot mouth but two upon his skin, Don learns just how much more than matchmaking the Romeo Club has to offer a guy who doesn’t mind a few surprises.
